Lineage 2 epic boss respawn timer
For Lineage 2 on PC: Interlude, Kamael, High Five and LU4 servers, not Lineage 2M. Record when your CP or clan killed an epic, and Meadhall counts down to its next respawn window for everyone in the group, with alerts in your Discord.
How epic respawn windows work
A Lineage 2 epic (grand) boss doesn't come back at a fixed hour. When it dies, a fixed delay starts; when the delay is over, a window opens, and the boss spawns at a random moment inside it. Queen Ant on most Interlude servers, for example, comes back 24 hours after its kill, then at any time in the next 4 hours.
So the window is kill time + delay to kill time + delay + window. Miss the kill time and you don't know the window, which is why clans keep a timer: one person records the kill, and the whole clan knows when to be there.
The epics and their usual rules
These are the common Interlude rules (L2J's grand boss defaults, close to the official game's), and what Meadhall fills in when your group adds a boss on a server other than LU4. Servers change them, often: check your server's own page and change the rule if it differs.
| Epic | Respawn after the kill | Then a window of |
|---|---|---|
| Queen Ant | 24 hours | 4 hours |
| Core | 24 hours | 4 hours |
| Orfen | 24 hours | 4 hours |
| Zaken | 48 hours | 4 hours |
| Frintezza | 48 hours | 4 hours |
| Baium | 120 hours (5 days) | 8 hours |
| Antharas | 192 hours (8 days) | 8 hours |
| Valakas | 264 hours (11 days) | 8 hours |
| Beleth | Not filled in: set your server's | 4 hours |
| Freya | Not filled in: set your server's | 4 hours |
Beleth and Freya come with High Five. Meadhall has no default delay for them, so your group sets its server's. LU4 has its own epics and rules: see LU4 epic boss respawn. Reborn publishes different rules for each of its worlds: see L2 Reborn epic respawn.
What Meadhall does with a kill
- Record the kill on the hub's Raids page (Record kill now, or an earlier time), or from Discord with the bot's
/raids kill. A mistake can be undone. - See the window live. Each boss's card counts down to when its window opens, then to when it closes, in each member's own time zone. The Dashboard lists the bosses open now or opening within 24 hours, and the bot's
/raids windowsshows them in Discord. - An estimate when a window passes unrecorded. If a window closes with no kill recorded, someone else may have the boss. Meadhall then estimates the next window from the missed one, widened to cover every time the boss could have died, and marks it as an estimate until you record a kill.
- Discord alerts: 5 minutes before a window opens, 1 minute before, and when it opens, each switched on or off for the group. They go to the bot's announcements channel (the opening as a post with a Record kill button) or to a channel's webhook. Alerts need a paid plan for the group (CP, Clan or Alliance; see pricing) or a founder code's 90 days. On Free, the timers still show on the Raids page and in
/raids windows; nothing is posted by itself. - Your rules. Officers can change any boss's respawn delay and window for the group, and go back to the default.
- Private to your group. In Meadhall, kill times are encrypted and only the group's members can see them. Posts and alerts in your Discord channel are as private as that channel, so put them in a channel only your group can read.

Supported Lineage 2 servers
A Lineage 2 CP, clan or alliance in Meadhall picks its server. Raid timers work on all of them:
- LU4 (Gamma, Black, White, Carmine): Queen Ant, Core, Orfen and Zaken are always shown, with LU4's own rules, and CPs and clans also see the official elemental raid boss status. LU4 epic respawn
- Reborn (Signature x1, Eternal x10, Origins). Reborn epic respawn
- ElmoreLab (Interlude: Erica x3, Teon x1) and ElmoreLab Kamael (Bartz x3, Lionna x5). ElmoreLab epic respawn
- Asterios (High Five: x5, Prime x1, Medea x3, Hunter x55)
- Scryde (High Five)
- E-Global (High Five: MW x1)
- Any other Interlude, Kamael or High Five server: pick Other server by version and type its name.
On every server but LU4, the Raids page starts empty and your group adds the epics it hunts, from the list above. The list of servers and what each picks is in Getting started.
Some servers spawn certain epics on a fixed schedule instead (a weekday and hour). Meadhall's timers are respawn delay + window only, so a fixed-schedule boss isn't modelled yet.
Start a timer for your clan
Sign in with Discord in the hub, create a CP, clan or alliance on your server, and add the bosses you hunt. Small groups are free; members never pay.
