The Meadhall guide

How to run your CP, clan, alliance or guild on Meadhall, step by step: every button, who may press it, and what happens next.

What Meadhall is

Meadhall is a hub for a group that plays together: a Lineage 2 constant party (CP), clan or alliance, or a World of Warcraft guild or raid team. It keeps in one place what groups usually spread over spreadsheets and Discord pins:

  • Raid timers: each boss's respawn window, worked out from the last recorded kill, counting down.
  • Events: sign-ups with places and a waitlist, presets, recurring events, a party plan, reminders, and attendance.
  • DKP: pools, activities, awards and a ledger anyone in the group can read; claims with screenshot evidence, which Meadhall can help read; weekly decay.
  • Loot and auctions: a log of every drop that matters, buying with DKP, and live auctions in DKP or in the game's own currency (adena, gold).
  • People and roles: joiner codes, join requests, roles with exactly the permissions you choose, and roles from Discord.
  • A Discord bot: the same things from your server, with slash commands and posts in your channels.

You sign in with Discord, there are no adverts or trackers, and what identifies you is encrypted with a key of your own (see the privacy policy).

Who it's for

  • Leaders and officers who set a group up, run its events, keep its DKP and record its loot.
  • Members, who sign up, claim their points, bid, and check when the next boss opens, on the site or in Discord.

Games today: Lineage 2 on LU4, Reborn, ElmoreLab, Asterios, Scryde, E-Global and any other Interlude, Kamael or High Five server (CPs, clans and alliances; the tools, the Clan page and reading screenshots are LU4's for now: Lineage 2 servers), and World of Warcraft in the EU and US regions, on Retail, Classic, Classic Era, Hardcore, Season of Discovery, Anniversary and WoW Forever (guilds and raid teams; WoW's own tools are still to come). The hub speaks English, Russian, French, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese and Greek; this guide is in English for now.

The guide

How to read this guide

  • Buttons and tabs look like this; what the hub says is in "quotes".
  • A line like this one says who may do something:

Needs the Record boss kills permission. Officers and leaders have it.

The names are the permissions you see on the People page's Roles tab. Leaders may always do everything; the built-in Officer and Member roles start with the permissions the guide mentions, and a leader can change them.
  • The pictures are the hub's own pages, filled with invented people and numbers. Your group's pages look the same with your data.
  • Want to click around first? The preview is a whole hub on invented data. It also shows some pages that aren't built yet, so where the preview and this guide differ, the guide is what works today.
